Chalk has coordinated and managed a series of 7 successful* conferences and exhibitions for Catch Up and the CfBT: “What works for children with literacy or numeracy difficulties?”

Our team, who have organised many conferences across the UK and overseas, looked after everything - from finding the venue and booking the presentations through to organising schedules and compiling delegate feedback.

These conferences gave headteachers, SENCOs, literacy advisors and teachers the opportunity to find out more about the most successful Wave 3 literacy intervention programmes recognised by the DfES.

At five venues (St Albans, Birmingham, Leeds, London and Manchester), more than 700 delegates attended over eighty presentations, including Acceleread Accelewrite, The Basic Skills Agency's Family Programmes, Better Reading Partnerships, Catch Up, Cued Spelling, Reading Recovery and THRASS.
